Offered: Be in a New Novel by Seleste deLaney

What You Are Bidding On:

You are bidding on the opportunity to become a TRAIT agent. TRAIT is the super-secret spy organization in Seleste deLaney's upcoming series with Entangled. The character will get a mention in book 1: Gaming for Keeps (September 2013) and will likely come back in future installments--possibly even as a main character at some point.

Minimum Bid:

$40

Geographical Restrictions:

None

Bio:

At a young age, Seleste discovered the trick to not being afraid of the monsters under the bed was to turn them into heroes. Since that’s time, she’s seen more than enough of human monsters that she prefers to escape into worlds where even the demons have rules to play by and the good guys might end up battered and bruised (or dead), but they always win. Now, those worlds have made it into this one and you can find her work in the pages of the Blood Kissed series, Badlands series, as a contributor to the multi-author series Cupid’s Conquests, and in several short story anthologies.

Offered: Name a Character and Free Copy of Upcoming Book by Dina James

What You Are Bidding On:

The option to name a character in Dina James' next novel.

You may name this character after yourself, or homage a friend. You are bidding on the NAME ONLY, not the plot. You also recognize that the character name may not be applied to a human character, though if that's your wish, Dina will take that into consideration. You may specify the gender of your named character.

You also recognize that you must provide an actual, usable name for a character of any type. You may not win this auction then specify that the character be named "Meatlocker" or "*InsertBodyPartandVulgarity here*."

If you win this auction, details will be discussed with the author after your win. You will receive a free copy of the book your named character is in. Though she will do her best to complete your bid in a timely manner, keep in mind this particular win could take up to two years or more to come to fruition. Writing a book and publishing it is a long process!

Offered: Die in a Novel by Skyla Dawn Cameron

What You Are Bidding On:

You are bidding on being killed by Skyla Dawn Cameron.

Okay, a fictional you (she has no room left to bury real people until she moves). Later this year, the fifth book in her Demons of Oblivion series will be released, and as an apocalypse is underway, there are lots of opportunities for people to die horribly. And one of them can be you!

In addition to dying, you (the real you, not fictional you), will also received a print, signed ARC of the novel when it's ready.

Book Description:

Oblivion: Demons of Oblivion #5

Earthquakes. Plagues. Rivers of blood. The ever-so-popular rain of toads. When end of the world fare is on the rise, it’s well past business as usual in a city where the veil between dimensions is thin.

Quarter-demon Persephone Takata isn’t so keen on killing herself anymore. This time when death approaches, she’s ready to take a stand and fight to protect the woman she loves, along with everyone around them as the apocalypse swings into full force.

Meanwhile, trapped in her home dimension where her antichrist father’s rule is weakening, Mishka Thiering’s hopes for revenge on the living are put on hold when she stumbles across the truth the Court has kept hidden for centuries. Her death was the last piece of the puzzle, leading to a change in the dimensional landscape, affecting humans and demons alike.

Despite its fractured numbers, the shadow government who has kept tabs on Peri and Mishka for years is still very much in the game, ready to set into motion their final plan. For there is something much, much worse waiting in the wings—something old, something powerful, and something far more terrifying than Oblivion or any of the creatures it’s spawned.

Alliances, betrayals, casualties. This is war.

And only one sister can win.

Bio:

Skyla grows weary of writing bios. All you need to know is that she digs urban fantasy, enjoys torturing characters, watches a lot of Buffy, and is being held hostage by a household of cats.

Send tuna before they eat her alive.

Offered: Be a Character in a Novel by Frances Pauli

What You Are Bidding On:

You are bidding on a cameo appearance in an upcoming novel by Frances Pauli. The author makes no promises of death, nor does she ensure a happy ending. This is life folks, it may be fictional, but it's way more fun if you don't know the outcome. She will name a character after you, and she will probably torture said character at least a little.

Minimum Bid:

$5

Geographical Restrictions:

None

Bio:

Frances writes speculative fiction with touches of humor and romance because she doesn't like to follow rules, and refuses to pick one genre. Her Changeling Race trilogy and Shift Happens series are published by Mundania Press, and her next fantasy series, Kingdoms Gone, will release book one in March. http://francespauli.com
